Hey there, I’m Blair Ribeiro (please no “e” at the end of my first name)! I’m an actress living in the NYC tri-state area and working wherever the project takes me!
It all started when…
she climbed up on to the brick and stone mantle of her family’s fireplace.
From creating scenes inspired by characters in her grandmother’s favorite day-time soap opera Days of Our Lives when she was six to practicing her acceptance speech for when she finally won the Oscar for Best Actress, like a moth to the flame, Miss Blair Kathleen Ribeiro has always been drawn to the lime-light.
Currently based in New York City and the tri-state area, Blair began her road to stardom early, modeling and doing print commercial work as a toddler/youth/pre-teen for Josie’s Bridal; Jacobian’s Formalwear; and BlairJoyAl Bridal. Followed up by roles in productions of Rogers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella, The Wizard of Oz, and Once Upon a Mattress, Blair took a small break from the stage and lived out reality in the well-cast role of college student at Syracuse University. And she nailed it…earning a 3.6 GPA and double BA’s in Political Science and English Textual Studies. She was also lucky enough to study abroad while studying the works of Shakespeare, visiting Stratford-upon-Avon and seeing The Taming of the Shrew at the London Globe.
Now don’t let the Real Miss B’s Northeastern roots and current home base fool you - she never leaves the house without her Passport and she’s ready to go North, South, East (further East?), or West or wherever the project takes her!
Catch Blair in the feature film Banana Split starring Dylan Sprouse, Hannah Marks, and Liana Liberato; and on Investigation Discovery Channel’s Dead of Winter and Evil Lives Here. You wil also see her in a slew of commercials, including Truth.org’s anti-opioid campaign.
Be on the look out for several film shorts that Blair has performed in which should be availabe for release any day!
During her free time Blair can be found at One-on-One and The Green Room training and perfecting her on-camera presence and expressiveness. You’ll also probably find her checking out a movie or binge-watching whatever new show is available on Amazon Prime; HULU or Netflix while she works on writing a new story or blog entry. She also loves to speak in “movie/TV Show Quote,” watching Crime ID and true crime documentaries; and playing with her big-little kitty-cat fuzz-bucket, Vito and his Maltese-Yorkie, non-feline frenemy, Lily.
